We were approached by Gold Link to tender for the G:link website and mobile app. Unlike the other agencies who received it weeks in advance, we only received the brief on Tuesday. The due date was that Friday. Needless to say it was all hands on deck in the 40/40 studio to produce something visually stunning and so functional you could use the website or app while riding a unicycle blindfolded (which we don't really condone). While it didn't come to a 40/40 Creative slumber party, there were late nights, too many double shot vanilla lattes and we now all have an ingrained presumption a capital G should have a colon (:) after it.
Given our tight deadline, we are so impressed with the work we produced for this proposal. In true 40/40 style, our proposal was delivered in a handmade wooden box complete with etched branding. In addition to an amazing web and app design concept, our proposal also included a secret project proposal to boost community moral surrounding the entire light rail project. We're bound by lock and key so we're not giving much away, but hopefully in the very near future we can.
After several meetings with KDR and Gold Link, the Minister for Transport and being whittled down to one of the final two agencies, we unfortunately didn't get the project. BUT, we're still considering this as a major win for 40/40 Creative.
